Since Michael Oliver opened his first fish and chip shop over 45 years ago, the people of Harrogate have been flocking to our friers like fish and chips were going out of fashion.

To this day, Oliver's Fish Shop and Restaurant is still a family-run take away and restaurant providing the finest traditional fish and chips in the town, using the best Yorkshire-landed haddock, plaice and scampi.

Our twice monthly gluten-free frying days on alternate Mondays, even attract folk as far away as Leeds and Ripon; thanks to a solid reputation backed up by an award from Plush Magazine for being the best chippy in Harrogate.

Building on the success of our flagship establishment, we have now opened Oliver's Two in Jennyfield. We provide our favourite fish and chips as well as all day breakfasts, steaks and sandwiches in the accompanying restaurant. Contact us for more information.
